Outstanding Academic Achievement Scholarship
Awarded to

Master's and doctoral applicants (including direct entry to Ph.D. from bachelor's degree) with outstanding pre-requisite qualifications.

Grant Amount

Full or half of the tuition fee (up to two academic years for master's students and three academic years for doctoral students).

Requirements

Applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Outstanding Academic Achievement Scholarship and will be evaluated based on their admission examination results. Scholarship application results will be announced at the same time as admission results after being approved by the University Graduate Scholarship Committee.

Studied or graduated from top universities (including top 300 universities in the world, double first-class universities in China, top universities in related disciplines, etc.);
Provided at least six semesters of undergraduate academic record with an overall average score/grade of 80 (on a 100-point scale) or 3.5 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent;
Proof of at least one language proficiency (e.g., CET-4 with a score of 500, IELTS with a score of 6.0, TOEFL iBT with a score of 78 or above), or other proof of foreign language proficiency, or other proof of special skills/awards.
Doctoral applicants
Studied or graduated from top universities (including top 300 universities in the world, double first-class universities in China, top universities in related disciplines, etc.);
Provided at least two semesters of master's academic record with an overall average score/grade of 80 (on a 100-point scale) or 3.5 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent;
Proof of at least one language proficiency (e.g., CET-4 with a score of 500, IELTS with a score of 6.0, TOEFL iBT with a score of 78 or above), or other proof of foreign language proficiency, or other proof of special skills/awards.

Postgraduate Studentships (PGS)
Awarded to

Doctoral applicants (including direct entry to Ph.D. from bachelor's degree) with outstanding pre-requisite qualifications. (Not applicable to master's applicants)

Grant Amount

Approximately HKD 500,000 per student in total. Includes full tuition fee subsidy, waiver of rent and bedding fee for specified types of dormitories, and a monthly allowance of MOP 4,500 for up to three academic years.

Requirements

Applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Studentships (PGS) and will be evaluated based on their admission examination results. Application results will be announced at the same time as admission results after being approved by the University Graduate Scholarship Committee.

Provided at least two semesters of master's academic record with an overall average score/grade of 80 (on a 100-point scale) or 3.5 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent;

Have published academic papers/articles in journals recognized by the university, or have won awards in research/innovation and entrepreneurship competitions at the provincial level or above.

Scholarships for Sports and Arts Elite
Awarded to

Master's and doctoral applicants with specialties in sports, arts, or industry (e.g., national athletes, artistic specialties, well-known professionals in related fields, etc.).

Grant Amount

Full or half of the tuition fee (up to two academic years for master's students and three academic years for doctoral students).

Requirements

Applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Scholarships for Sports and Arts Elite and will be evaluated based on their admission examination results. Application results will be announced at the same time as admission results after being approved by the University Graduate Scholarship Committee.

Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. Scholarship for Overseas Studies
Awarded to

Master's applicants with outstanding pre-requisite qualifications. (The applicant must hold a valid foreign passport and possess citizenship of the country of issuance. Not applicable to PhD program applicants; not applicable to residents of Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Mainland China.)

Grant Amount

MOP 50,000 per academic year (up to two academic years). Applicants for the Wynn Scholarship may concurrently apply for other types of scholarships. Applicants may qualify for full or partial tuition coverage.

Requirements

Applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. Scholarship for Overseas Studies based on their admission examination results and the program applied. Scholarship application results will be announced at the same time as admission results after being approved by the University Graduate Scholarship Committee.

Provided at least six semesters of undergraduate academic record with an overall average score/grade of 80 (on a 100-point scale) or 3.5 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent;
Proof of language proficiency is required, IELTS or TOEFL, or other proof of language proficiency.
Preference will be given to applicants for the master's programs in the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, the School of Business, the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, and the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
International students from Portuguese-speaking countries or members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will be given priority.
Attachment:
The issuance and termination of scholarships is regulated by the Regulations stated in the Postgraduate Studentships Ordinance.
After admission, the applicant will also have the opportunity to obtain an institutional scholarship.
Applicants can submit their applications for scholarship and financial aid through the Online Application System (OAS) at the time of application.
