Before Applying

1. Find your program (and Contact intended supervisor)

For certain programs listed below, applicants must contact with their intended supervisor(s) before submitting their applications:

  • Doctoral degree programs: Communication, Management in Film Industry, Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, Musicology, Science, Networking and Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Chinese Medicine, Chinese Medicines, Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, Pharmacy, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Intelligent Science and Systems, Environmental Science and Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health.

  • Master’s degree programs: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pharmacology in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy.

Each applicant can only apply for one program. Applicants should carefully consider and confirm one program before applying. For study plans, and admission requirements, supervisor list and contact, please refer to the websites: Master's degree programs, Doctoral degree programs.

2. Prepare your application documents

To better prepare the submission of online applications, it is recommended that applicants prepare the required application documents in advance. Some programs require applicants to submit proof of employment or English/language proficiency (generally accepted as proof of scores such as College English Test Band 4 and Band 6, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.).

Note: MUST has the right to require applicants to present the original application documents for verification or provide any other supporting documents needed. If the applicant fails to submit the required application documents or submits false or forged documents during the application/admission period, their eligibility for enrollment/admission will be cancelled. According to the laws of the Macao Special Administrative Region, forging documents is subject to criminal liability. If the applicant commits acts such as forging documents, MUST reserves the right to pursue legal action.

Submit an Online Application

Applicants must register through the university’s official online application system(https://oas.must.edu.mo/admission). Submit an online application, fill in the required information and upload the application documents, and submit before 6 pm on the day of the application deadline (GMT+8 Beijing time zone).

Successfully settling the application fee is considered as completing the online application process. Applicants can settle the application fee online through the application system: MOP 600 for Macao residents and HKD 600 for non-Macao residents (the application fee will not be refunded or transferred for any reason). Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria for Direct/Recommended Admission are exempt from the application fee. Note: MUST will send important information to applicants through the online application system (OAS), email, mobile SMS, and other means. The applicant should ensure that the contact information filled in the system is their correct and valid contact information.

After Applying

1. Selection and Admission Examination

The applicant’s application materials will be transferred to the faculties/institutes for selection.

Not all applicants are required to take the admission examination. If necessary, the university will notify the selected applicants in batches to take the admission examination to determine whether they will be admitted. All arrangements will be announced through the Online Application System.

2. Acceptance

The University will select suitable candidates and release acceptance results in batches, and admission places for each program is limited. The results of acceptance and scholarship awards will be announced through the Online Application System.

3. Admission confirmation and tuition fees settlement

Those who have been accepted must log into the application system to confirm enrollment, confirm personal information, and download the Debit Note. They must also pay the retention fee, the first installment of tuition fee, and related fees before the specified deadline. After payment, proof of payment must be uploaded for verification. Those who fail to pay tuition fees on time will be deemed to have automatically forfeited their eligibility for admission, and their enrollment will not be retained.
